Parley's pledge I pledge to uphold the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Utah, in the spirit of the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, and to faithfully implement the platform principles of the Utah Republican Party. I also pledge to protect and strengthen Utah's grassroots-oriented political system, to ensure that all citizens of the state have full opportunity to participate in our representative, party-based political process. I further pledge to help make Utah government accessible to the citizenry--and I especially pledge to emphasize volunteerism as much as possible to meet the needs of our state. I don't believe in any elite governing class that pretends to have all the answers.
